As the Finance Manager for Anytime Fitness Thailand, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires proficiency in full-suite accounting, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), cost allocation, and local tax reporting. Knowledge of payroll and HR processes is advantageous, and experience working in a startup environment is desirable.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Manages cash flow and CAPEX for building gyms.
Monitor, analyse and produce accurate monthly management accounts, to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
Responsible for bank account management, monthly cashflow and cash balance monitoring.
Reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts on monthly basis. Ensure all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure on time payment to all our suppliers.
Manage accounts payable functions, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment disbursement, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Support regional FP&A by providing relevant & timely information.
Liaising with external auditors.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and best practices, and ensure the company's accounting practices align with industry standards.
Coordinates, prepares, and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and project leads/manages the external audit of all gym entities including liaising with external audit firms.
Analyses each gym’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets.
Local Tax Compliance
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, prepared by external tax agents, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
Manages all tax planning and compliance with all required payroll, and other applicable taxes.
Liaise with external tax agents on taxation compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, implementing changes as necessary to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
Coordinates and/or prepares tax schedules, returns and information.
Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality work.
Startup Environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proficiency in English communication is mandatory.
CPA a must, with the ability to sign off on bookkeeping internally.
7-8 years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of full-suite accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax compliance and reporting.
Familiarity with payroll processing and HR functions is advantageous.
Experience working in a start-up environment is desirable, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
