Legal Counsel - Compliance

Oversees contractual compliance across the Southeast Asia franchise network, ensuring adherence to agreements, enforcement of compliance frameworks, and support for policy development.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed lawyer in the Philippines with 4–5 years of relevant experience (law firm and/or in-house)

  • Background in compliance, regulatory matters, and corporate governance

  • Experience in policy development, risk management, and internal investigations

  • Knowledge of data privacy laws is an advantage

  • Strong drafting, advisory, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with franchise and contractual obligations

  • Identify and address non-compliance and related risks

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and frameworks

  • Review reports and ensure timely corrective actions

  • Handle enforcement actions and draft legal documentation

  • Support data privacy compliance and risk management

  • Lead investigations and assist in dispute resolution

  • Supervise compliance personnel and ensure proper documentation

  • Provide legal advice and support compliance initiatives
