General Summary
As the Area Presales Manager for Anytime Fitness Thailand, you are accountable for leading, executing, and optimizing presales performance across assigned gym locations within the region. This role plays a critical part in driving new member acquisition, presales revenue, and seamless handover into club operations while upholding Anytime Fitness brand standards.
As an Area Presales Manager, you oversee presales strategy execution, people development, and performance management. The role requires strong operational discipline, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on leadership to ensure that presales campaigns deliver high-quality members who are activated, engaged, and successfully transitioned into club life. This position carries responsibility for confidential information and requires professionalism, integrity, and consistency in coaching standards, member experience, and compliance across all presale’s activities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Presales Strategy & Performance Management:
Lead and execute presales strategies to achieve monthly and campaign-based targets across assigned clubs.
Deliver presales member acquisition targets, including lead generation, conversion rates, and activation benchmarks.
Ensure presales KPIs are achieved, including:
o Minimum required number of new join members per month
o Lead generation targets per club
o Activation rates within the first 30 days
o Incomplete documentation maintained below agreed thresholds
Monitor presales performance dashboards, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure presales revenue targets are met while maintaining high-quality member onboarding standards.
Presales Operations & Process Excellence:
Ensure all presales processes are executed consistently and aligned with Anytime Fitness operational standards.
Oversee accurate documentation, system encoding, and compliance with membership and payment requirements.
Drive successful debit completion and minimize cancellations, freezes, and expired memberships post-presales.
Ensure smooth and complete handover from Presales to Club Operations, with all required checklists fulfilled.
Collaborate closely with Regional Operations Manager, National Sales Manager, Area Business Manager, Club Managers, and Operations teams to ensure continuity of member experience.
People Leadership & Talent Development:
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing presales teams across assigned clubs.
Act as a mentor and subject-matter expert in gym presales execution, conversion techniques, and member engagement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and skill development workshops.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and result-driven behavior.
Identify high-potential team members and support succession planning within the presales function.
Marketing & Lead Generation Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing teams to execute local and regional presales campaigns effectively.
Ensure marketing initiatives are properly promoted, activated, and tracked at club level.
Support events, launches, and community activations to maximize brand visibility and lead capture.
Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide insights to improve future presales initiatives.
Member Experience & Brand Standards:
Ensure every presale interaction reflects the Anytime Fitness brand values: welcoming, professional, and empowering.
Address member and prospect concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Ensure onboarding processes support strong early engagement, attendance, and retention.
Uphold service excellence and ethical sales practices across all presales activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in successfully managing gym club presales.
Demonstrated track record of achieving presales targets in a multi-club or regional environment.
Strong background in fitness industry sales, presales campaigns, and membership growth.
Experience leading, training, and performance-managing skills in presales or sales teams.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Deep understanding of gym presales operations, membership acquisition, activation, and revenue performance in a multi-club environment.
Excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence teams and align stakeholders.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential business and people matters.
Results-oriented, with the ability to balance target achievement and member experience standards prior to grand opening of a club.
Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sales, Operations, and Marketing leadership.
Proficient in CRM systems, performance reporting tools, and standard business software.
Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability, applying sound judgment and initiative aligned with business priorities.
