Club Manager - Horizon Hills (Johor)
The Club Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales & productivity.
The Club Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate good powers of observation and be able to identify weaknesses before they become problematic.
- Collaborates with Line Manager to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, and policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
- Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
- You are also expected to be proactive, hungry to learn and be respectful in all your dealings with staff, prospects, guests, and members.
- You should be able to network and build lasting, professional relationships with guests and members, while constantly looking for ways to increase monthly sign-ups.
- Your responsibilities include working with a broad client base and a capable team member.
- You should be able to work under pressure and answer several questions from staff and members in a polite and courteous manner.
- Driving increased membership is another important aspect of your job as well as meeting monthly sales goals for membership and must be able to develop strong marketing plans to increase membership numbers.
- You will be expected to undertake those duties as required for the successful completion of your job.
Candidate Requirements:
- Malaysian Citizen (Willing to work at Johor)
- Have min 3 years’ experience of leading and managing teams in the fitness industry.
- Good leadership skills with a successful track record of developing people and spotting talent,
- Excellent knowledge of the industry and operational challenges,
- Able to deliver real improvement – able to get things done, strong influencing skills,
- Good communication skills with all levels of the business,
- Strong desire and ability to motivate and inspire people and teams,
- Local knowledge and experience and/or cultural sensitivity
- Salary Range: RM4000 - RM4500.
