General Summary
As a Club Manager at Anytime Fitness, you will be the driving force behind your club’s success. This role requires a passionate, goal-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced fitness environment. You will oversee daily club operations, lead and coach your team, and ensure that each member receives an exceptional fitness experience.
Your core responsibilities include managing sales performance, growing membership, delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a results-driven team culture.
Responsibilities:
Club Operations & Member Experience
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the club, including cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance
- Deliver a consistent and positive experience for all members and guests
- Resolve member concerns professionally and promptly
- Oversee member onboarding, retention, and engagement initiatives
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly targets for new memberships, renewals, and personal training revenue
- Execute local marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies
- Analyze KPIs and sales reports to optimize performance
- Build relationships within the community to attract new members and partnerships
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing staff, including personal trainers and front desk team
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching, support, and performance evaluations
- Lead by example with a strong focus on accountability, motivation, and professionalism
Financial & Administrative Management
- Monitor club budgets, expenses, and commission
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, health and safety standards, and government regulations
- Maintain accurate records for sales, membership, and operational data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, fitness, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fitness club or retail/hospitality management
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and team leadership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for health, wellness, and fitness lifestyle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and club management software (CRM/POS systems)
